Biography
Dr. Rajib Paul, PhD, MSc, is an Assistant Professor at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Adarsha Mahavidyalaya (PDUAM), Eraligool, Karimganj, Assam, India. He completed his doctoral and master's degrees at Assam University, Silchar. His research focuses on neurodegeneration, with particular emphasis on Parkinson's disease, cholesterol metabolism, homocysteine, and melatonin in the context of neurological disorders. His most-cited work, "Lycopene - A pleiotropic neuroprotective nutraceutical: Deciphering its therapeutic potentials in broad spectrum neurological disorders" (2020), has received 51 citations and exemplifies his contributions to understanding neuroprotective compounds in neurodegenerative disease management.
