Biography
Dr. Anup Pradhan, MD, is a Professor at Sikkim Manipal Institute of Medical Sciences in Gangtok, Sikkim, India. He received his medical education at the Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education. Dr. Pradhan's research focuses on regenerative medicine and stem cell biology, with particular emphasis on optimizing protocols for mesenchymal stem cell harvest and application. His most-cited work, published in 2019, presents a simple selection protocol for optimizing the harvest of mesenchymal stem cells from explanted human umbilical cord Wharton's jelly, contributing significantly to the advancement of stem cell research methodologies.
