Identifiers are not indexes
An ISSN identifies the journal. A DOI identifies and resolves an article. ORCID identifies a contributor where an author or editor supplies an ORCID iD. These identifiers support attribution and linking, but do not by themselves mean that a journal is indexed in a bibliographic database.

Discovery services
IJGH article pages expose crawlable titles, abstracts, author information, references and DOI metadata. Independent scholarly search services decide whether and when individual records are included; IJGH does not guarantee complete or immediate coverage.

Long-term preservation
Portico digital-preservation programme
IJGH is included under Open Access Pub’s Portico digital-preservation programme. As articles are deposited, they enter Portico’s permanent archive for long-term preservation.
Review the Portico publisher record and the publisher preservation statement.
Current database coverage
IJGH does not currently claim journal-level coverage in PubMed/MEDLINE, PubMed Central, Scopus, Web of Science, DOAJ or CAB Global Health. Applications or future goals are not presented as current indexing.
PubMed Central and NIHMS
Eligible NIH-funded manuscripts may be deposited individually in PubMed Central through the NIH Manuscript Submission System (NIHMS). This does not indicate journal-level PubMed Central indexing.
Status last checked: 29 July 2026.
Report a record problem
Libraries, authors and discovery services may report a metadata error through the editorial office. Include the article DOI or journal ISSN and describe the requested correction.

Digital preservation
This journal’s content is committed to Portico, a not-for-profit digital-preservation archive run by ITHAKA (the organisation behind JSTOR). As articles are deposited they enter Portico’s permanent archive, so the scholarly record stays available for the long term — even if a title one day ceases to publish. Read our preservation policy.
