Call for papers
IJGH welcomes regular submissions throughout the year within its defined global-health, population-health and health-systems scope. This is a standing invitation, not a time-limited Special Issue.
Submit a manuscriptA population-level question is essential
The manuscript's central question, analysis and conclusions must concern a population, community, public-health programme, health system, cross-country comparison or transnational health challenge. Individual diagnosis, treatment or clinical management is outside scope unless the principal inference extends to one of those levels.

Additional areas considered within the journal’s scope
Maternal and child health, environmental and planetary health, One Health, digital and genomic epidemiology, and international development are considered when the population, system, comparative or transnational contribution is explicit.
Listed priorities do not guarantee external peer review or acceptance.

Review and access
Peer-review model: Single-blind (double-blind on request). Decisions are independent of article-processing charges and optional services. Published articles are openly available under CC BY 4.0 and receive a Crossref DOI.
