Biography
Tarek Magdy Mohamed is an Assistant Professor at the LSUHSC-Shreveport Area Health Education Center Program in Shreveport, Louisiana, United States. He received his education from Alexandria University Faculty of Pharmacy and Stockholms Universitet. His research focuses on pharmacogenomics and cardiotoxicity, with particular emphasis on identifying drug transporter genomic variants and protective mechanisms against chemotherapy-induced cardiac damage. His most influential work, "Identification of Drug Transporter Genomic Variants and Inhibitors That Protect Against Doxorubicin-Induced Cardiotoxicity," published in 2022, has been cited 90 times and represents a significant contribution to precision medicine in oncology.
