Dr. Ayman Khalil holds a PhD and is affiliated with Lebanese American University, Lebanon, where his research spans biology, cellular biology, molecular biology, nutrition, and pharmacology. He earned his BPharm from Al-Sham Private University and completed doctoral training at Aix-Marseille Université, including studies at the Ecole Doctorale des Sciences de la Vie et de la Santé and the Faculté de Pharmacie. His scholarly work addresses the intersection of bioactive compounds and human health, with his most-cited publication examining the role of polyphenolic compounds in immunity during the COVID-19 pandemic and other emerging communicable diseases, garnering 49 citations since 2020.
