Biography
Andrzej Cwirzen, DSc, MSc, is Chair Professor at Luleå University of Technology in Luleå, Sweden. He received his academic training at institutions including Aalto University Helsinki Institute for Information Technology and Silesia University of Technology. His research encompasses advanced materials science and biomass processing, with particular emphasis on nanoparticle formation and pretreatment technologies. His most-cited work, "Formation of Lignin Nanoparticles by Combining Organosolv Pretreatment of Birch Biomass and Homogenization Processes" (2018), has garnered 96 citations, and he has authored over 39 indexed publications that contribute to sustainable materials development and biorefinery processes.
