Biography

Dr. Younes Smani is a Professor at Universidad Pablo de Olavide in Sevilla, Andalucía, Spain, where his research focuses on antimicrobial resistance, bacterial pathogenesis, and new therapeutic approaches. He earned his PhD from the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Henri Poincaré, following earlier studies at the Faculty of Pharmacy at the same institution and at the Faculty of Sciences, University of My Ismail. Dr. Smani has authored over 33 indexed publications, with his most-cited work, "Antibacterial Activity of Colloidal Silver against Gram-Negative and Gram-Positive Bacteria" (2020), receiving 93 citations. His research contributions address critical challenges in combating bacterial infections and developing novel antimicrobial strategies.
