Biography

Professor Nahla El Sayed Nagy is a Professor at Ain Shams University Faculty of Medicine in Cairo, Egypt, where she also completed her medical education. She is a Distinguished International Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (FAPA) and maintains memberships in several prestigious professional organizations, including the Egyptian Association of Neurology, Psychiatry and Neurosurgery, the Egyptian Psychiatric Association, the World Federation of Mental Health, the Royal College of Psychiatrists, and the Arab Federation of Psychiatrists. Her research contributions include work on mental health screening in university populations, notably her widely-cited 2019 publication on screening social phobia symptoms among Egyptian university students.
