Biography
Frank A. Frizelle is affiliated with the University of Otago Christchurch, New Zealand, where his research focuses on colorectal cancer, anal cancer, and surgery. He trained in general surgery in New Zealand before completing a fellowship in colorectal surgery at the Mayo Clinic in 1994 and a fellowship in laparoscopic surgery in Dundee, Scotland, in 1995. His most-cited publication, "APC Mutations Are Not Confined to Hotspot Regions in Early-Onset Colorectal Cancer" (2020), has been cited 23 times and reflects his contributions to understanding genetic factors in colorectal malignancies.
