Biography
Dr. Wan Fatein Nabeila Wan Omar is a specialist in Medical Physiology with a focus on Reproductive and Cardiovascular health. Her primary research investigates the pathophysiology of hypertension and Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) in young adults, specifically seeking predictive biomarkers and exploring epigenetic involvement. She also contributes significantly to Women's Health and feto-maternal physiology, including studies on the ethnopharmacological effects of traditional medicinal plants. Her work emphasizes novel diagnostic and therapeutic strategies to mitigate cardiovascular risk in young populations.
