Dr. Eman Refaat Youness is an Assistant Professor of Medical Biochemistry specializing in Oxidative Stress, Antioxidant Activity, and Disease Pathogenesis. Her multidisciplinary research focuses on molecular and biochemical mechanisms underlying chronic conditions, including Breast Cancer, Kidney Injury (Alport Syndrome), Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), and Cerebral Ischemia. Dr. Youness employs her expertise to identify novel biomarkers (like NGAL and L-FABP) for early diagnosis and to evaluate the protective role of various therapeutic agents and antioxidants.
